PHILA, PA — In 1996, Talisman principal songwriter/singer Crystal "C" Eiswert, met lead guitarist Jim Nichols, in the band's 1st incarnation. Clever guitar combinations, relatable lyrics & stick-in-your-head melodies created a pop flavored, original rock sound. Alas, after 3 years, Talisman decided to take a break that turned into an 11 year stretch. Meanwhile, C continued writing & performing solo work and collaborated with Nichols on a project called “Kitsch” - a revisiting of some of pop music’s most forgotten songs. In 2006, a reunification of the original Talisman line-up occurred & the full length CD "The Wicked World's Come of Age" was recorded. Then, in 2009, Nichols & C realigned the band with the addition of current drummer Dan McCoach & bass player Mike Kurman.
